If you have a user name that you want to “brand,” you won’t know if that user name is available at many social sites unless you sign up for each site and find out.

I stumbled across a cool site today that allow you see instantly if a user name is available at 72 social sites!

The site is called Namechk.

Here is the blurb from their site:

“Check to see if your desired username or vanity url is still available at dozens of popular Social Networking and Social Bookmarking websites. If you want to create a user name at all of these social bookmarking sites (and you should), this little service will have you a ton of time and headaches.
